  1. “What’s up? You don’t seem happy. What is going on? Is something bothering you?” If he doesn’t open up and talk, I would definitely get professional help. I don’t mess around when it comes to my kids. I believe, if my son isn’t being himself around me, he is asking for help.

    1. Thank you Lydia for your comment and specific Callemonit. Agreed, it sounds like you definitely don’t mess around when it comes to the health and wellbeing of your children. Maybe you have a good point about seeking professional help so quickly if you don’t get the response you’re looking for. I think a lot of parents figure they can solve this issue on their own for awhile. Hopefully, more parents can weigh in on your direct approach and give pros and cons to the doctor direction.
